Job Description

Our opportunity

Toshiba has evolved beyond photocopiers to provide our clients with innovative technology solutions that improve efficiency and effectiveness across their business operations.

We provide opportunities for growth and advancement to keep you engaged. This pivotal position is critical for ensuring that the installation, service, and repairs to Toshiba’s and other manufacturer’s products are completed in a timely, accurate and economical manner.

 

Responsibilities include

  • Conduct a high quality diagnostic and service repairs to our products in the field
  • Installation of products,  including setup of device drivers across multiple OS types
  • Software and connectivity support of print and document management platforms
  • Management of customer concerns to resolution
  • Provide a high level of customer service, both remotely and in-field
  • Monitoring and managing stock levels

Desired Skills and Experience

Other requirements

  • Preferably demonstrated experience servicing MFDs, however if you have worked in manufacturing or have other field service experience then you are encouraged to apply
  • Previous experience working with software, operating systems and networks would be advantageous.
  • Technical aptitude / troubleshooting skills and the ability to learn concepts quickly
  • Willing to undertake Working with Children Check and National Police Check
  • Willing to take annual flu vaccination and comply with COVID requirements

 

Qualifications, skills and experience required

  • Basic electrical/electronic skills or similar
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Electrical Appliance Servicepersons License or Restricted Electrical License highly regarded.
  • Current and Valid Driver’s License

 

In addition to the above, the successful candidates will possess sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation and the ability to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels.
